Intumescent Coating Systems provide an efficient, effective and practical option for the fire protection of structural steelwork. These systems protect the steelwork in the event of fire, thus maintaining the integrity of the structure and preventing a potential collapse within a given time-frame and are available in high quality decorative paint finishes.

Water-based intumescent paints: providing cost-effective, aesthetic and environmentally friendly protection in internal situations.
Solvent-based intumescent paints: primarily used in external situations.

Fire Board Systems offer another option for the fire protection of structural steel. Kilnbridge provide a comprehensive range of products, ranging from effective mineral-fibre type boards to high specification Gypsum and Calcium-Silicate board systems which can be taped and finished to a high decorative standard.
