We believe that all accidents are preventable and we are determined to eliminate them from our business in order to protect our employees and the public. As such we are committed to ensuring:
To help us achieve this we operate an Integrated Management System (for Health, Safety, Quality & Environment) accredited to BS OHSAS 18001 and by ensuring that our employees have the necessary skills and competence through instruction, information, training and supervision.
We have embraced the Incident and Injury free ethos of many of our clients and as a result now have our own IIF instructors to deliver this message throughout the business, making everyone risk aware, changing attitudes and behaviours by making safety personal.
Through direct consultation with designated safety representatives of the workforce, individuals are empowered to contribute to our safety culture thereby continuously improving the systems in place by adopting good working practices and strategically assessing risk.

All our Project Managers hold the SMSTS qualification and Supervisors the SSSTS as a minimum, in order to effectively plan, manage and supervise all our activities and employees safely.
Our projects are regularly visited by our health and safety management to support the site teams and ensure that we are working to the highest possible standards.
Awards are given to individuals and project teams who demonstrate innovation through new safety initiatives and a proactive and consistent approach to safety.
Fleet Safety
With a fleet of over 200 vehicles, Kilnbridge recognise that the safety of our employees and other road users is of equal importance to that of our on site activities.
As part of our occupational road risk strategy, Kilnbridge have been awarded membership of the TFL Freight Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), a pre requisite for all vehicle drivers on the Cross Rail Project and best practice for freight operators in and around the Capital.
FORS also assists Kilnbridge in reducing their environmental impact by identifying improvements and benchmarking against other scheme member organisations.
